From the Ground Up
Ironbird Contracting & Consulting began with a simple goal: to raise the standard of quality and reliability in the contracting industry. Founded by Cory McEwan, a veteran of large-scale pipeline and infrastructure projects, Ironbird was built on the principles of precision, integrity, and innovation.
What started as a small consulting operation has evolved into a full-service contracting and project management company serving clients across Western Canada. Along the way, we’ve expanded our expertise — from fiber optic installations and facility construction to complex infrastructure and civil works.
Today, Ironbird continues to grow under the leadership of Cory and Jessica McEwan, combining decades of field experience with forward-thinking project management to deliver smarter, safer, and more efficient outcomes.

Cory McEwan is the Founder of Ironbird Contracting & Consulting, bringing over 15 years of construction and engineering experience. He specializes in pipeline and fiber-optic projects with a strong focus on quality and safety.
Jessica McEwan
Senior Project Manager
Jessica McEwan is a Senior Project Manager at Ironbird. She applies engineering and data expertise to improve quality, safety, and performance on pipeline construction projects.
